Sleeping Giant Media wins CIM Agency of the Year award

Sleeping Giant Media has won both the Agency of the Year and Best Use of Data and Insight – SME categories – awards at the highly coveted Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) CIM Marketing Excellence Awards.

The CIM is one of the world’s leading professional marketing bodies. 2017 was the eighth year for the highly awards held at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in London and this year was hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr.

For the Best Use of Data and Insight entry, Sleeping Giant Media used its work with Plan Insurance.  Grant Georgiades, Director of Plan Insurance, says: “My team and I enjoy working with Sleeping Giant Media. The team are highly informed, diligent and deliver on projects as promised. We’ve seen steady improvement in both the conversion performance and SERPS of our site in the last 18 months thanks to their efforts and advice. It’s come as no surprise to me that their services have been recognised with these awards.”

The Agency of the Year award comes as a great result for the agency, marking a fairytale moment for the business. Ant Klokkou (Managing Director) says, “It’s wonderful to receive this award from the very organisation we first studied with 10 years ago, subsequently leading to the concept of Sleeping Giant Media. We want to say a massive thanks to the organisers and congratulations to the finalists and winners of the night.”

The CIM identifies and celebrates outstanding marketing by organisations, individuals and teams – supporting, representing and developing marketers.

There was also recent success for Sleeping Giant Media at the Chamber Awards 2017 as Luke Quilter, Chief Executive, was named Entrepreneur of the Year and the company was a finalist in the Business of the Year and Excellence in Customer Service of the year 2017 categories.
