National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are recognised as the Industry standard for individuals to prove their competence. It is in this context that Q2W work closely with our clients to carry out assessment for all occupational areas from level 2 to level 7.
NVQs are delivered in the workplace; Q2W provide a service utilising the latest digital and on line methods that ensure disruption to work is minimised during the NVQ assessment process. This method has enabled year-on-year growth culminating in over 1,500 candidates recruited in 2016.
Location – Folkestone
Q2W chose to setup in Folkestone primarily because of the High-Speed rail link into London. In addition, The Workshop has provided a flexible space in a modern environment that reflected well on my business in terms of its professional outlook.
The space was affordable and offered us the flexibility we required in terms of expanding at our own pace: Q2W now occupy 1,000 sq ft of office space.
The networking opportunities provided by The Workshop were also very useful to us, both within the vibrant setting of the office and locally, with a large network of entrepreneurs at hand.
Working closely with SpaceBetween and Sleeping Giant Media two local companies we have been able to develop our web-based marketing capabilities, which is now beginning to contribute to our planned growth for 2017 and beyond.
Q2W support apprenticeships and are delighted with the support provided by Kent Training & Apprenticeships. Alice Jefferey was recruited fifteen months ago, as a business administration apprentice. Alice is now personal assistant to the managing director and a key member of our NVQ assessment support team.
Advice For Start-Ups
