Location – Folkestone
Xchanging, and its predecessors – the London Processing Centre and Institute of London Underwriters before this – has a long history in Folkestone dating back to the 1960s. Like many London-based financial services business at the time, regional offices were an attractive alternative providing experienced and emerging talent and offering employees a local, lifestyle employment choice as an alternative to the London commute. Folkestone was particularly attractive for insurance companies and businesses that provide similar services to them.
