Folkestone Sports Centre Staff support drop-in session
In person session at the Civic Centre, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone Friday 9th August 2024 10am – 1pm
Staff who lost their jobs when Folkestone Sports Centre Trust closed last week are invited to a drop-in support event at the Council’s Civic Centre in Castle Hill Avenue on Friday 9th August.
Between the times of 10am and 1pm staff can talk to members of our welfare team and receive guidance on sources of assistance if they are required.
In addition, there will be advice on training opportunities, applying for jobs and support offered around interview skills.
Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and East Kent College (EKC) will also be present and on hand to share advice. There is no need to book or register to attend, just come along to the Civic Centre between 10am and 1pm.
