Folkestone Book Festival returns with another stellar programme that is brimming with authors, ideas and inspiration. The launch on Friday 17th November sees Tracy Chevalier (author of “Girl with the Pearl Earring”) discussing her new book “New Boy” and switching on the Creative Quarter Christmas lights at 5.30pm on The Old High Street for an evening of song, cheer and light. There is a choir performance with Christmas classics; cafes and bars are on hand to keep you warm and refreshed; and independent shops will show off their festive window displays.
The nine days will welcome a plethora of national and international speakers, covering everything from tech and the environment to well-being, history and fiction.
Festival day passes offer access to all available events at just a fraction of the individual price.
