C S Hair Studio in Hythe has enjoyed another successful year during which it won a Silver award for Hair Salon of the Year at the 2017 Kent Health & Beauty Awards.

Owner Clare Cole was also recognised by winning a Bronze award for her Overall Contribution to the Health & Beauty Industry at this year’s awards ceremony which took place during the summer at the Great Danes Hotel in Maidstone.

“I have been in business for 13 years and worked in Hythe for 27 years, apart from a year out to go to Florida to learn more which was amazing,” said Clare. “I’ve trained two sisters and my niece whom, alongside one of my sisters, still works with me. I’ve also trained many more apprentices,” she added.

“I absolutely love my salon, love what I do and work with a great team. The clients are fantastic, some of whom I have known for 25 years. I was on cloud 9 after winning the awards – that was one of my best moments in the hairdressing industry.”
