Kent Big Weekend 2019 – 9 days left to register your business
Participate in the hugely successful Kent Big Weekend campaign and gain some priceless free word of mouth marketing for your business.
The 2019 Kent Big Weekend will take place on 6th & 7th April and we are once again inviting the county’s tourist attractions, venues and destinations to be part of this hugely successful campaign by offering free entry to attractions or experiences – such as an afternoon tea or a guided tour.
The Big Weekend is all about giving Kent residents the chance to discover – or rediscover – the array of fantastic things to see and do on their doorstep, and encouraging them to spread the word about their county. This word of mouth recommendation is priceless and participants tell us that as a result of taking part in the Big Weekend they are highly likely to return with friends or relatives in the future and to explore more attractions in the area. Businesses also reported an increase in secondary spend.
How did we perform in 2018?
The 2018 event broke all previous records with 130 attractions donating more than 17,000 pairs of tickets, and there were nearly 233,000 applications for tickets. During the campaign the website received more than 1.1 million page views, our tweets reached 365K people and press coverage reached nearly 700K people, providing all participating businesses with fantastic free exposure.
To take part you MUST register your business and upload your ticket allocation before 25th January 2019, but why not do it now and tick this off your “to do” list before Christmas!

If your business took part last year, you simply need to log in to your account to update your details and upload your ticket offers. If you’re new to the Big weekend, you’ll need to register your business first. Please contact Jim to check if your business participated last year or if your main contact has changed.
