Promoting our Creative Coast

Visit Kent is starting a new initiative to promote Kent’s Creative Coast. As part of the Discover England Fund (DEF) project, funded by Visit England, they are working to develop a brand-new product to promote England’s exceptional art and cultural offering to international visitors.

Creative Coast

England’s Creative Coast

England’s Creative Coast (ECC) is an innovative new visitor experience that will allow travel trade and Fully Independent Travellers (FITs) from France and The Netherlands to gain inspiration, browse and plan their own bespoke cultural travel itineraries. The Folkestone & Hythe District is full of numerous creative businesses that could benefit from being included in the listing.

To get a better understanding of England’s Creative Coast (ECC), please take a read of the Introduction document here which gives a full overview of why we are encouraging local businesses to get involved. You can also download the FAQs document here.

What are the benefits to your business?

  • Be a part of an exciting, new, product that links the South East’s world-class cultural offering to the wider tourism businesses

How to register your business

Registering for the project is simple. Just complete this short content collection form and email a copy of the form to – Caitlin.minter@visitkent.co.uk. Please also include some good quality images that will help to promote your offer.

To maximise the benefits for your business, we suggest that you confirm your participation as soon as possible. Where possible, your business information will be added to itineraries and collateral shared with the Travel Trade. Your business will also be added to the England’s Creative Coast website which will launch in early 2019. Visit Kent will be back in touch with you once your listing is live on the website.

The FAQs document should hopefully answer any questions you might have, however, if you would like to discuss this further please contact Caitlin Minter – Caitlin.minter@visitkent.co.uk
