Kickstart Kent can help your business

Social Enterprise Kent are supporting local businesses and social enterprises to access funding from the Government’s Kickstart Scheme and create jobs for unemployed young people.

The Kickstart Scheme is a £2 billion fund to create hundreds of thousands of high quality 6-month work placements for young people.

Funding available for each job will cover the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week. Social Enterprise Kent can act as your gateway to access the funding.

There is £1,500 of funding available for each job placement to set up support and training, as well as helping pay for uniforms and other setup costs.

By pledging to Kickstart Kent, Social Enterprise Kent will manage and deliver this wraparound support on behalf of your business and submit your application for you.

Register your interest with Social Enterprise Kent and we will act as the bridge between you and the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).
