A Quick Guide To Trading With The EU Countries, For Companies New To International Trade FREE event is chaired by Export and Importing expert, Graham Card, Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.
As a result of Brexit on 31st January 2020 and particularly the end of the EU transition period on 31st December 2020, many traders have become importers and/or exporters for the first time. This is because trade with any of the EU 27 was previously treated as a home market transaction.
This webinar is aimed at demystifying import and export traders’ responsibilities by using straightforward explanations and layman’s language. It will also discuss:
- The joint responsibilities of exporter and importer in any transaction
- Achieving the correct tariff classification and obtaining binding decisions in cases that are not clear
- Becoming aware of collection and arrival procedures
