English Tourism Week 2021 – Twitter Q&A

The annual VisitEngland campaign, which runs from 22-31 May 2021, highlights the importance, value and vast contribution of the sector to the UK economy, and celebrates its diversity and vibrancy.

English Tourism Week is an annual celebration of the English tourism industry. With the easing of restrictions Folkestone and Hythe District is ready to welcome back visitors and to showcase what is on offer.

Making up 80% of the UK’s visitor economy, English tourism in 2019 generated over £100 billion a year and supported 2.6 million jobs and is a major employer of school leavers and young people, as well as an incubator for entrepreneurs and innovation

Whether you are exploring somewhere new or revisiting a favourite attraction, support the local economy during this week and share your photos and social posts using #EnglishTourismWeek21.
