About this event
It’s back! In person, and SEK can’t wait to see you all at the beautiful and historic Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone for the annual Social Enterprise Kent Conference.
This year we are focussing on ‘Partnerships’, and SEK can’t wait to bring as many of you together as possible for some meaningful networking, and to gain practical advice, tips and tools from inspirational speakers and SEK hosts. Our Social Enterprise Advisors will also be on hand all day.
Our Keynote speakers this year are the successful, Kent-based social enterprise ‘Elvis and Kresse’, who have been rescuing raw materials, transforming them into luxury lifestyle accessories and donating 50% of profits back to charities since 2005. We are so excited to host them and to hear all about their experiences navigating the path to success as a Social Enterprise.
You will also hear from Partnership experts in funding and the supply chain including:
Kresse Wesling CBE, Elvis & Kresse; Andrew O’Brien, Social Enterprise UK; Charlie Wright, Supply Change; Jo Verney, The Umbrella Cafe CIC; Bruce Topham, Kent Community Foundation and Sally Marshall, Social Enterprise Kent CIC.
There is the opportunity for you to set up your own stall at the venue, to showcase your organisation and/or sell products. Once you have purchased your ticket, just email firstname.lastname@example.org to get this reserved at no extra charge.
The day includes lunch and refreshments throughout, but there is a limit on how many people can be hosted, so get your ticket quickly – you will leave feeling inspired and equipped to take action.
With thanks to Folkestone & Hythe District Council for their support.
#COVIDsafeKent guidelines will be in place at the event. Click here to book your place at this informative and inspirational event!
