What are R and D Tax credits and how could they help you?
Business Strategy Free Webinar 3rd November 2021 1:00 – 2:00pm
About this session
The Government recently announced that between 2019 and 2020 there was a 16% increase in Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit claims. Since R&D Tax Credits became available in 2000, billions of pounds have been handed out each year to qualifying companies. While manufacturing and software companies have dominated the credit claims, there have been far fewer claims from the construction sector, including from designers, trades, and suppliers. This is partly because the language around tax credits is geared more towards other industries, so most construction companies disqualify themselves.
In this talk David Fribbins, of Randee, unpacks what R&D Tax Credits are. He explains what Research and Development looks like in construction using real examples. Plus, there will be plenty of time for attendees to ask David about their own projects and businesses.
Learning outcomes
- Understanding of what R&D looks like in construction.
