COVID-19 Re-opening High Streets

COVID-19 Re-opening High Streets

Guidance on how to re-open safely

The business toolkit has been updated to incorporate additional information following the easing of restrictions which come into effect on 4th July.

To support the re-opening of our high streets Folkestone & Hythe District Council have developed the attached business toolkit.

This toolkit provides important information on how businesses can open safely. This details local measures the council has taken and signposts to the relevant government guidance. This also includes other useful information for example the risk assessment form the Health and Safety Executive are advising all businesses to complete if they have not yet done so.

We recognise how important it is to our economy to demonstrate our high streets are a safe place for shoppers and we want to help build their confidence to return to our high streets.

We have taken the opportunity to include a series of posters in the toolkit for local businesses to download, print and display. These include a series of messages to encourage people to stick to social distancing guidance and welcome them back to our high streets.
