The enterprising opportunities project is part of the Folkestone Community Works Programme, managed by Folkestone and Hythe District Council. Part-funded by the European Structural Investment Fund 2014 – 2020 and delivered by Social Enterprise Kent (CIC).
What we offer
Enterprising Opportunities: Social Enterprise Kent provides support to social enterprises and small and micro businesses in Folkestone, Kent. We deliver:
- 12 hours of tailored 1:1 support
- Guided practical workshops to suit you
We are here to support you, whether it’s setting up a social enterprise, working out how to measure social impact, manage governance, apply for funding, access crowd funding, marketing, business planning or a huge range of other functions.
The 1:1 support that you will receive will be complimented by a huge range of workshop courses, including:
- The art of grant fundraising
- Crowdfunding
- Theory of change
- Impact management
- Marketing
- Social media
- Human resources
- Business in the digital age
